Father Stanisław Streich
Father Stanisław Streich, the first parish priest of St. John Bosko Parish in Luboń, will be beatified on May 24, 2025. He was murdered on February 27, 1938, during a children's mass by Wawrzyniec Nowak, a member of the Polish Communist Party, who, out of hatred for the faith and the Church, fired several shots at him during the service.
